London: women’s get bored and less interest in sex with long term relation

Everyone knows it can be difficult to keep the spark alive in a long-term relationship. British women have a greater tendency than men to go off sex after a year with the same partner, Women are more than twice as likely as men to lack interest in sex when living with a partner, research has suggested.
A study has found that ladies in relationships lasting for over a year were additional doubtless to lose interest in sex than those that had been with their partner for a shorter time. Men, on the opposite hand, failed to lose interest over time – news that their drive was equally robust regardless of however long they’d been within the relationship.
The findings were contained in the third National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyles, the largest study of sexual habits in the UK. Researchers interviewed 6,669 women and 4,839 men aged between 16 and 74 who reported having at least one sexual partner in the past year.
The UK researchers said problems of sexual desire should be treated by looking at the whole person, rather than simply resorting to drugs.
In women only, low interest in sex was linked to having three or more partners in the past year, having children under five in the household, and not sharing a partner’s sexual preferences.
Women whose general interests differed from those of their partners also experienced a lack of sex drive.
