Boris Johnson the British foreign secretary, who arrived at the capital of Pakistan on Thursday, spoke out for ending of violence in Indian Kashmir.
“The violence which occurred on both sides of the LoC needs to be stopped, that is what we are concerned about” Johnson said at a press conference with adviser on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz.
British foreign secretary says: “both sides need to maintain positive dialogue” and “UK is not involved to say anything about it”
“The long standing position of the UK is India and Pakistan to find a lasting solution to the situation in Kashmir, taking into account aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
“Look at this area, look at this incredible human potential of Pakistan and its neighbors, and then imagine what a future could be like if this was sorted out,” said Johnson.
“What an incredible boom zoom this would be. That’s the objective … the mutual syncretism of economies,” said Johnson.
